1. Estimates and Quotations

All estimates are valid for 30 days. Estimates are based on a non-destructive visual inspection. If "hidden" defects (including the presence of asbestos) or non-compliance with BS 7671 are discovered once work commences, we will provide a revised quote before proceeding.

2. Payment Terms & Deposits

3. Professional Standards & Cancellations

All work is carried out in accordance with BS 7671:2018+A4:2026. As a NAPIT registered contractor, we notify local authority building control of all reportable works under Part P where applicable.

Right to Cancel: Domestic clients have a statutory 14-day right to cancel from the date of agreement. By requesting that work commences within this period, you agree to pay for any works completed up to the point of cancellation.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client must provide clear access to the work area, consumer unit, and meter. While we take every care, we are not liable for moving furniture or lifting floor coverings (including carpets and floorboards) unless agreed in writing. The client is responsible for providing or paying for parking/permits required for the duration of the works. Waste Removal: Unless explicitly stated in the quote, the removal of waste from the site is the responsibility of the client.

5. Liability and Exclusions

We maintain £5m Public Liability Insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing faults in the client’s installation or for minor damage to décor (plaster/paint) caused by "chasing" walls or lifting flooring, unless making good was explicitly quoted. Disputes should be directed to us in writing; if unresolved, they may be referred to NAPIT.

6. Guarantees

We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee. This does not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage, or unauthorized interference by third parties. Materials are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
